This unique performance will feature Houston improvisors Jessica Brown, Brittny Bush, Autumn Clack, Alison Coriell, Ruth S McCleskey, Callina Situka, Christine Weems and Kacie Adams on tech. This three-night engagement will be different every night. The plays will be completely made up with absolutely no planning and super-inspired by audience suggestions. Yes, you have power!

Cast and Crew

Kacie Adams

Kacie Adams is ecstatic to be working with Boiling Point Players for the first time, along with getting to pal around with some seriously talented improv folks. Earlier this year she could be seen in Armageddon Dance Party, along with Spontaneous Smattering 8. You can also catch her in the Five Minute Mile, Nov 10-19 in the same space! She doesn't know what kind of show you're in for this evening, but whatever happens, she hopes you enjoy.

Jessica Brown

Jessica Brown, CTA is a native Houstonian and graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. She recently left a nearly 20-year career in destination marketing to focus on Station Theater full time, thanks to some inspiration from Duran Duran.

As Director of Station Theater and Co-Owner of Phase 3 Comedy, LLC, Jessica oversees PR & Marketing for the theater as well as Station's Applied Improvisation initiative that helps businesses build stronger teams and better customer service using improvisation skills. She is also a Certified Tourism Ambassador and Texas-Friendly Hospitality Trainer.

Jess is an improv instructor and has coached Station Theater’s Launchpad student troupe for more than 10 seasons. Jessica also serves as Producer and Director of Marketing for the Houston Improv Festival, Trill Comedy Festival, and BeachProv Women’s Improv Retreat in St. Augustine, FL. She has recorded two audio books, several Texas destination radio commercials, and is working on her own improv + travel lifestyle podcast called If Here, Then What?.

Jessica completed the training programs at ComedySportz Houston and The New Movement (TNM) in 2010 and has continued her improv and sketch comedy education with inspirations from Kids in the Hall, iO Chicago, Annoyance Theater, Huge Theater, The New Movement and more. Jess toured nationally with TNM’s Tourceratops in 2012 and has performed at the Chicago Improv Festival, Improv Festival Oklahoma, Trill Comedy Festival, Houston Improv Festival, Improv Wins, Megaphone Marathons and Houston Fringe Festival.

Brittny Bush

Brittny Bush is a native Houstonian. Brittny has a BA in Theater Acting and Directing from The University of Houston. She has performed with many local theater companies including Interactive Theater, Main Street Theater, Classical Theater Company, Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company and Cone Man Running Productions. She has also worked as a Teaching Artist in local theaters and after school programs for the past 10 years. Brittny is thrilled to join Boiling Point Players in this improvisational endeavor.

Autumn Clack

Autumn Clack is thrilled that IPx3 has finally come to fruition! Originally from Houston, Autumn got her BFA in Theatre from Adelphi University in New York and studied at London Dramatic Academy. She studied improv with Massive Creativity and is currently one half of the improv duo Ophelia's Rope with Ruth S McCleskey. She is also a co-founder of Boiling Point Players. Some favorite past roles include Lysander, A Midsummer Night's Dream (all female cast), Boiling Point Players; Lindsay, Give/Take, Cone Man Running Productions; Esther, Pollywog, Mildred's Umbrella Theatre Company; Marcie/Lily, The Beebo Brinker Chronicles, Celebration Theatre. Thanks to Ruth, for always making me do things. 

Alison Coriell

Alison Coriell has her MED from University of St. Thomas and has her BFA in theater from NYU Tish school the arts. She has studied Improv at UCB , IO, the Pit, annoyance, Comedy Sports, Second City and Station Theater. She's a graduate of the school at Steppenwolf and the Second City conservatory. Most importantly Alison is a mother to two beautiful little girls and a wife to a hot lawyer.

Ruth S McCleskey

Ruth S McCleskey is over the moon that BPP is doing improvised plays! Ruth graduated from the University of Houston, magna cum laude, with a degree in theater and a few years later started studying improv with Massive Creativity. Amongst her favorite theater credits: Shakespeare’s Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Importance of Eating Earnest, In Juliet’s Garden, Secrets of a Soccer Mom, Sylvia, Hedda Gabler in Hedda Gabler, The Truth of a Lie at the Heart of a Deception, Wizard of Oz, The AntiChrist Cometh, Macbeth Mixup, Three Bags Full, Romeo and Juliet, The Nerd, Sordid Lives, Pinocchio Commedia, You Can't Take It With You, Romantic Comedy, Carl the Second, and Blueness/Grayness. She also performs in the two person long form improv group Ophelia’s Rope (OpheliasRope.com) and is a co-founder of Boiling Point Players (BoilingPointPlayers.com). Thanks to Autumn, for being my artistic soulmate. Improv and theater powers activate!

Callina Situka

Callina Situka loves Boiling Point Players! This is her second production with them. She was also seen as Dawn in A New Dawn Cabaret. She has recently been seen in Horse Head Theater's production of The Judgment of Fools. She has also worked with Main Street Theater  (The Revolutionists), Landing Theater (Gambrels of the Sky), Mildred's Umbrella (Dollface), Ensemble Theater (Platanos y Collard Greens),Cone Man Running Productions (Give/Take), Fade to Black (Edmonia's Marble), Alley Theater's Houston Young Playwright Exchange, and was a regular actor at Interactive Theater. She will be seen as Calpurnia in To Kill A Mockingbird at A.D. Players in March 2017. She holds a B.A. in Theater from the University of Houston. 

Christine Weems

Christine Weems directed Boiling Point's inaugural production, Secrets of a Soccer Mom and as well as last season's all female A Midsummer Night's Dream.  She is a founding member of Cone Man Running Productions.  Recent acting credits are mostly sketch (hooray!).  Recent directing credits include The Right Kind of People, As Bees in Honey Drown, The Importance of Eating Earnest, Ruthless! the Musical.  She is artistic director of the Cone Man's Spontaneous Smattering 24 hour play festival series as well as Playhouse 1960's Short Play Festival.  Much love to the men in her life that make this all possible - her husband and sons, Michael, Tommy, Jack and Sammy.  www.cvweems.com
